Case 10

I wanted to share my experience with everyone. I arrived at the INS center in Pittsburgh, PA. My passport along with my visa papers and I-94 was taken and I was asked to wait. There were 5 people ahead of me in the line. I waited for about 1 hr before which my name was called. Everyone was extremely cordial and very nice to talk to. It took 10 mins to fill the form with the INS official who remained very nice throughout the interview. I was asked my full name, date of birth, address in the USA and Pakistan, information regarding my parents and then my work information. I was then asked to show any other forms of identification (drivers license and credit card). My fingerprints were then taken of index fingers of both hands and a quick pic was also snapped on a web cam. I was then given a list of ports to depart from. This ended my interaction and I was wished good luck with everything. It was an easy process and I would encourage all the Pakistanis to go and get the registration done ASAP. Please don't feel scared.
