Case 11

I went to register myself with the INS, Dallas office, today on Jan 22, 2003. I arrived around 9AM. I was pleasantly surprise to see representatives from a Pakistani organization inside the INS office. I was given a form to fill out asking my name, address, mother's and father's name etc.  I handed my passport to a INS representative who then, after a wait of one hour, called me for interview. Interview only took around 20 minutes and basically the INS representative spend most of his time entering the data from the form. He did asked for my credit card and checked other immigration documents and then took my picture and finger prints. That's it... The experience was pleasantly painless.
