1. It went well for me and i was done in 2 hours (went there at
845 am waited 30 minutes before being seen and came out at 1045 am). It
is a small office and I had to put everything on the conveyor belt and X ray
machine in the main lobby. There were a large number of Canadians going through
their work authorization procedures.
2. The lady officer told me that they are seeing something like
20 Pakistanis per day in this office.
3. They asked me the same generic questions that i have seen on
your web site, including mom, dad name and date of birth. Names and address
of US contacts, email address, credit and debit cards, Social security
card, Driver's license, US employer info, rental lease and documents, all INS
related papers (including 3-4 years old IAP 66, I 797s and other forms)
4. the time delay depends on the link with Washington computers
5. In the end, while in the same room, I had a digital photo and
digital fingerprint of Rt and Lt index fingers.
6. She told me that at every anniversary and at every
entry and exit, we will be finger printed and photographed.
7. In the other room, however, there was a gentlemen
from Pakistan who is going to be deported (Milwaukee INS office) as he had over
stayed his Visa. I heard the lady officer argue with him and remind him several
times that he was under oath. I wish i could get more information about the
person. I heard him opt out for Voluntary departure.
