I reached there around 10:00 am and after freezing in open for an hr, finally got into the building. The registration people were directed to go to Room 310 on third floor

a) At the reception, your passport and I-94 will be taken and a number would be assigned to you and you would be asked to wait to be called. A single one page form would be handed over to you to be filled up. the form asks for

• your name, address phone number.

• your parents address and phone number.

• your parents place of birth.

• two contacts in US with relationship and phone numbers.

• employer info for H-1 and school address for f-1
  Email address.

b) the wait time was about 3 hours. After which my name was called.

c) There is no separate room of any sorts. Its a big hall with
comfortable seating and officers seated behind panels with no glass.

d) The office was very polite and nice.

5) He asked me to take oath and then asked the following questions:

• Credit card? if yes, number plz.

• Govt issued ID for address.

• Employments letter or contract or payroll. Any one would suffice.

• Other than above, it was just data entry from the form.

6) Finger printed on both index fingers, and photographed.

7) FIN number was written by office on the i-94.

8) I asked him to put it on the visa also so I can show it when I
return. He was very nice and thought it was a good idea.

9) Thats all.

I want each and everyone to plz do not listen to all the horror stories. Please go and register. Officers are very very nice and very helpful. Not rude at all.
